Curriculum
Our Aim
We will support your child to become a confident and involved learner. We believe that children learn best through play.
In accordance with the ‘National Quality Standard’, our Preschool Program implements the Early Years Learning Framework, ‘Belonging, Being, Becoming.’ The learning outcomes are:

-
Children have a strong sense of identity
-
Children are connected with and contribute to their world
-
Children have a strong sense of wellbeing
-
Children are confident and involved learners
-
Children are effective communicators
We aim to have a flexible program that builds on the children’s interests as well as focusing on family input and community events and involvement. Through these meaningful experiences, children learn valuable literacy, numeracy and scientific skills and their social and emotional wellbeing is fostered.
Through a collaboration of family, child and educator input, long term goals are developed for each child to support their dispositions for learning. Dispositional learning is the key to support children to become lifelong learners. Skills such as persistence, imagination, commitment, enthusiasm, cooperation and confidence are supported through building strong relationships, play based learning and Intentional Teaching.
